About This Place

Nestled in the scenic heart of Montrose, Colorado, Remington’s At the Bridges offers a distinguished steakhouse experience that masterfully blends rustic charm with upscale culinary craftsmanship. This inviting venue is not just a place to eat—it's a destination for savoring prime cuts, creative flavors, and the kind of warm hospitality that makes every visit memorable.

The menu is a celebration of hearty, thoughtfully prepared dishes that spotlight quality ingredients and expert techniques. From the juicy, flavor-packed Remington’s Beast Burger and the succulent Prime Rib Rare to the elegantly plated Filet Mignon, each entree promises satisfaction for the discerning carnivore. Seafood lovers will appreciate the perfectly glazed Salmon Teriyaki that delivers a balance of tender texture and vibrant seasoning.

Begin your meal with tempting small plates such as the crispy, golden Calamari accompanied by a tangy lemon peppercorn aioli or the fragrant, umami-rich Friend Brussel Sprouts glazed with a lively sriracha lime drizzle and roasted beet hummus. For a lighter touch, the creamy Burrata with its sweet herb pesto and balsamic reduction serves as a delightful starter. The Fish Tacos blend fresh butter slaw and jalapeño cilantro crema, delivering a bright and zesty bite that sparks the palate.

The burger selection is elevated with artisanal twists—the Remington Burger layers smoky whiskey cheddar and grilled onions on a soft brioche bun, with customizable add-ons like Swiss cheese, blue cheese crumbles, or applewood bacon for a personalized indulgence. Vegetarian diners will find the Portabella Burger a savory delight, featuring balsamic-marinated mushrooms and creamy chèvre that are both satisfying and sophisticated.

Complement your meal with classic sides like crispy beer-battered fries, sweet potato fries, or crunchy onion rings, perfectly balancing the robust main courses. And don't skip dessert—delight in the velvety Cheesecake or the decadent Flourless Chocolate Cake drizzled with raspberry sauce and paired with vanilla bean ice cream, a finish that enchants the senses with every bite.

Beyond its exceptional menu, Remington’s shines with an atmosphere that customers frequently praise. Whether dining inside the beautifully remodeled space or enjoying the superb patio with stunning views, guests find the setting both relaxing and invigorating. Friendly and attentive service creates a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and cared for, enhancing the overall dining experience.

As one longtime patron shared, the renovation has elevated Remington’s to a whole new level—its fusion of fresh ingredient quality and culinary artistry is undeniable. Others commend the restaurant’s consistency in delivering perfectly cooked steaks and impeccable flavors, surprising many who first thought of it only as a golf course clubhouse spot. Ultimately, Remington’s At the Bridges is a destination where every visit feels like a special occasion, a testament to the passion of its new management and talented kitchen team.

Whether you're a local or just passing through Montrose, Remington’s invites you to indulge in a steakhouse experience defined by bold flavors, elegant presentation, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger long after the last bite. Dena is a proprietor who understands and values her guest experiences! There was a summer menu to die for. She recommended the stone fruit salad and I couldn't tell you how amazing it was. The squash ravioli was freshly made pasta dough and was filling. Prices were based up in the obviously fresh ingredients and the view was worth it! Carrot cake as a finisher is highly recommended!

Wonderful meal and exceptional service. It is a vast improvement over last year. I strongly recommend you give it a try. We had the bottle of Brunello as well. The hours of operation aren’t correct. They are open more often than stated. I recommend a reservation.

My favorite restaurant in Montrose. Finally made it back here after their remodel and it’s beautiful. The view is spectacular, the service always friendly and prompt. Their steak salad today was perfection. Steak was so tender and cooked exactly as we ordered.

I was surprised by how good the food was because I didn’t realize it was a golf course clubhouse restaurant. The steak was perfect. The views were excellent. The patio dining was superb. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Montrose.

Absolutely blown away by the new Remington’s! Under new management with an incredible new executive chef and pastry chef, this place is on a whole new level. We tried a variety of dishes—burgers, a fresh and flavorful salad, a delicious wrap, hand-cut fries, and house-made chips with salsa—and everything was fantastic. The quality of the ingredients and the care in preparation really shows. The desserts were a standout: the strawberry cheesecake was rich and perfectly balanced, and the Mussolini chocolate cake (yes, it’s as decadent as it sounds!) was unforgettable. The ambiance is top-notch—modern, warm, and with hands-down the best view in town of the San Juan Mountains. Add in friendly, attentive service and surprisingly great value, and this is easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Montrose. Highly recommend giving the new Remington’s a try—you won’t be disappointed!

We were driving through Montrose after my birthday and decided to stop here for a late lunch. So glad we did! The food was amazing and our waiter Ian was even better! They apparently have a new menu and everything we tried was awesome! The few things we commented about Ian gave us great recommendations on. The s’mores brownie is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! And the prices are really good!
